Who are we?

Empowering Change

Representatives from the Women's Alliance in STEM and Humanities, Girls Can Finance, and Her Finance Files came together to offer middle school students an opportunity to apply their creative thinking, analytical skills, and create an idea that might positively impact their community.

Our Contest, Theme: Sustainability

Students grade 6-8 will form groups of up to three members, and work together to create a 5-8 minute video pitch on a solution to any sustainability related problem in their community.

All competition members will also get access to guest speaker series and workshops hosted by university faculty and the competition founders.

The virtual showcase will be held in mid-August 2024, date TBD. Deadline for all submissions early August 2024.
